More Balance and Joy through Coaching

Quotes are a great way to quickly make something clear. Below you will find quotes that can give us direction in life. What they have in common is our challenge and desire to get the most out of our lives. What do you want?

“Life is the sum of all your choices” (Albert Camus).
“Eighty percent of all choices are based on fear. Most people don't choose what they want. They choose what they think is safe” (Dr. Phil).
“Life is too short to read a bad book” (James Joyce).

As a coach, I guide professionals and leaders in their quest to get the most out of their lives. Most of the questions relate to the following topics:

  • I want to get more out of my life
  • My self-confidence could use a boost
  • I'm taking too much on my fork
  • I want to further develop my talents, develop myself further.
  • No energy and energy, no motivation to do things.
  • I want to improve my life balance and feel (more) happy

Method

Our first conversation is an orientation conversation. In this conversation we will consider your questions, what goals do you strive for and what is your ideal? Which means Live your own life for you? Based on this, we determine the route together. And, do you like it? Do you have confidence in it? We will then make arrangements for the follow-up.

The coaching process

A coaching program offers a safe place to research ideas and problems, find solutions and formulate realistic implementation strategies. We consider who you are as a person, what you want in life and how you can achieve this.

We usually look at who you are as a person from different angles. This gives you a good idea of where you stand now. We then investigate existing and possible challenges or obstacles you encounter.

We devise a specific plan with action points to achieve the specific desired outcomes in your life. Realistic and achievable. After each session you will work on action points, experiments or exercises. We reflect on how things went and whether you are still on the right track to your goal. The success of the coaching process depends on your own motivation and responsibility. And as your partner I will help you with that. Often in a helpful and loving way and sometimes strict. Always without judgement, which is nice.

At the end of the coaching process we hold a reflection meeting. In this conversation we look back at how it went. Have you achieved your goals and what progress have you achieved? How is your energy now? What insights do you have about your challenges or obstacles?

Why Life coaching

Coaching is still a goal-oriented, results-oriented and systematic process driven by the coachee (you as the customer). Customer feedback shows that coaching increases self-confidence, awareness and personal growth. Coaching gives you (new) insight into your own identity, values and beliefs.

Coaching

A coaching process usually lasts between 8-12 conversations (45-60 minutes each time). The majority of our coaching conversations are by telephone or video calling (Skype or Zoom) or one-on-one coaching conversations at a location or at work. Often a combination.

If you would like to experience what our collaboration looks like, make an introductory appointment. Without obligations.

Do you have a quick question about it? Live your own life? Call or email me.
